FT234XD-R FTDI USB to Serial UART Interface IC are USB full-speed, low-power, single-channel (RX/TX) devices that have an enhanced UART interface. They incorporate the FTDI FT234XD-R IC, which features a USB 2.0 full-speed compliant interface, a 5V tolerant UART interface, and a 300mA current limit. The FT234XD-R also supports many popular serial protocols such as RS232, RS422, and RS485.
They are available in a variety of package options, including a 28-pin SOIC and a 16-pin QFN. The FT234XD-R is ideal for applications that require a low-cost, single-channel USB to serial interface.
